I had so much fun at the Dr. Sketchy demo last Thursday at The Soda Gallery and Boomstick Comics in Oak Cliff.
If you're not aware, Bishop Arts District is full of food, fun and art. All you have to do is cross the Trinity River (c'mon y'all, if I can do it, you can do it!).
Here's a couple shots from the session.
So the folks next door at Boomstick Comics were really fun. They even let me pose with an authentic Thor helmet - man that thing was heavy! Still waiting on that shot, but here's some others:
Those two comics are pretty special, now I could be wrong, but I think that one features the original appearance of The Punisher, and the other is the first (ever) appearance of Wolverine. I don't know for sure, but I do know that I'm holding close to two grand worth of comic books. Those boys were very trusting!
He actually asked me to do this. The marker was hard to use over chest hair!
