Take a Closer Look...

... at my costumes! You may not know that I make/embellish them all myself. I've found myself many times at my neighborhood JoAnn's completely stumped when the cashier casually asks, "whatcha makin'?"

Here's one of my first (and favorite) pieces:


I spent an entire weekend stitching the sequins on one-by-one. Here's the back, you can see all my stitches, because I used white thread. Sure, black would make more sense, but sometimes you just use what you have on hand. Besides, this way everyone can see how dedicated I am to my art! Ha-ha!


Oh, and please ignore my scratched hardwood floors. My house is about 80 years old and the floor (and nearly everything else) is original.
