Happy Halloween!!

I can't help but feel just a teeny rambunctious when Halloween rolls around. I adore playing dress-up and eating candy, and the cooler weather thrills me! Today I'm off to Denver to see a very special friend. I've never traveled on Halloween before, and I'm looking for adventure!

My Favorite Costumes Growing Up

Halloween costumes were never bought in my house. My mother, who is fantastically creative and resourceful, always designed the costumes of my dreams when I was a kid.

Some selected favorites include: a unicorn, a rabbit, a cat, Scarlett O'Hara and Little Red Riding Hood. It also helps that she's a makeup artist and phenomenal seamstress as well!

I am a woman of duplicity, and it's evident in my childhood. As you can see, one year I just had to be Snow White ("with a dress just like the one from the movie, Mom!!").


But the very next year, I wanted to see what it felt like to play the a villain, so I chose the witch. But if you look carefully, you'll notice I was still a prim and proper witch with white tights and black patent leather Mary Jane's.


Good girl, bad girl. I love them both. They each have their unique merits and talents, and to confine myself to one archetype would be impossible.
